Spring kickoff event 2018! I am so excited to see everyone out there this year. I am looking forward to what this year will bring us.
Couple things I would like to make note of. Please, no shenanigans in the parking lot. It is a public space and therefore we must be respectful of the other people and stores in the plaza. Also, please take your trash with you, if you don't want it in your car; please take the time to walk up to a trash and dispose of it properly. Now, don't forget to grab some delicious coffee and breakfast at our generous host's shop, The Coffee Factory! It is well worth the wait. Dogs are ALWAYS welcome, but are not allowed inside the shop.
Basically, have fun, but please be respectful! You wouldn't want to be the reason that we are not allowed back. Thank you all for your support. See you next month!
This huge motorsport event brings together the two biggest muscle car drag racing series in the country. All the stars and all the cars of the National Mustang Racers Association (NMRA) and the National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) are in one place to compete for huge cash prizes and a visit to the Aerospace Components Winner’s Circle! It’s heaven for enthusiasts and racers who are fans of the American muscle car—both modern and classic versions of these iconic vehicles.
The NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals is one of the biggest and most exciting events of the season featuring some of the world’s fastest American muscle cars. The Atlanta Dragway staff works closely with the NMRA/NMCA team to make sure that the track surface is super sticky. Racers will appreciate the consistency on the racetrack and the diehard fans will be ready to cheer them on as they go head-to-head and put their cars on the ragged edge!
This event also features the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series—the oldest and boldest LS race of the year! All of the teams in points competition will be laying it on the line at this event, for a chance to win big money. With three classes filled with awesome LS/LT-powered cars, the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series has grown leaps and bounds since its inception.
Running Friday through Sunday, there's a huge manufacturer's midway packed with vendors and representatives from some of the best aftermarket companies in the industry. A giant All-American Car Show is another part of the NMRA/NMCA experience where early- and late-model Chevys, Fords and Mopars will compete for trophies on Saturday and Sunday.
If you have a street legal ride, the True Street class is open to anyone with the desire to go fast. After a 30-mile cruise, all True Street cars get three consecutive runs down the quarter-mile for the chance to win cash and prizes. The Aerospace Components Winner’s Circle is the place that every racer wants to go because that means "Trophy Time!"
One day adult spectator tickets are $25. Children 12 and under are always free! Tickets are available at the gate on the date of the event. For more information call 866-694-3475.

This car show is FREE and open to the public. Several students will be at the entrance and around the show who will be generously accepting donations. All donations go directly toward the Brandon Masterson Automotive Technology Tool Scholarship.
Brandon Masterson started in Nashua Community Automotive Technology Program in 2011 and was one of 3 students selected to represent Nashua Community College's (NCC) auto program at the regional SKILLSUSA competition in 2013. Unfortunately, just before the event, he was in a serious car wreck and passed away. Brandon participated in NCC's Autocross Club and always spoke about his about his grandfather and how they worked on cars together. Brandon looked forward to working on his grandfather's IROC which has been fully restored with a big block Chevy motor.
This car show raises money for an automotive scholarship in Brandon's name. In 2013, when Brandon passed, a friend fundraised for Brandon's expenses, but his father decided to put the funds toward a scholarship in Brandon's name for students of the Nashua Community College Automotive Technology Program. The Brandon Master Automotive Technology Tool Scholarship was created in his honor. The scholarship is an award up to $700.00 for the cost of tools and is awarded to two students each Fall semester. Further information and the application are available on the NCC scholarship web page. A total of $2,800 was given to four students since the Fall of 2015 in scholarship money for tools.
